General Questions/New to Joomla! 4.x • Menu and URL question

I would like to set the main menu of my site like this:

Home
Sections (Separator or Menu Heading)
-- Geography
-- History
...
however, I would like the Geography URL to be domain.com/geography and not domain.com/sections/geography
is it possible to remove the level 1 item from the URL?
